Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasures deck helmed by Smaug the Impenetrable, built around a single elegant loop: deal noncombat damage to the commander to create a flood of Treasure tokens, then convert that mana and those tokens into a win. The primary engine pieces are damage spells like Blasphemous Act and Star of Extinction (which hit Smaug for 13 and 20 respectively), damage-redirect equipment like Pariah's Shield combined with Fiendlash / Blazing Sunsteel / Pain for All, and token multipliers like Xorn and Goldspan Dragon. The deck wins through Revel in Riches (10+ Treasures at upkeep), Alchemist's Talent level 3 burning each opponent with Treasure-spent spells, or a dense suite of drain engines - Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, Marionette Apprentice, Mayhem Devil, and Havoc Jester.
