Deck overview

This Esper deck is helmed by Queza, Augur of Agonies, transforming raw card draw into direct life drain and life gain. The deck accelerates through early two-mana rocks and establishes Queza on Turn 4. Once assembled, it converts massive card-drawing spells, wheels, and connive triggers into rapid life swings. The endgame converges on Turn 6 or 7, where multiplier effects like Psychosis Crawler, Teferi's Ageless Insight, and a devastating Peer into the Abyss rapidly burn through opposing life totals in large chunks. Supporting defensive enchantments like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison buffer life against aggressive creature boards, while a tight suite of efficient countermagic and spot removal disrupts opposing combo attempts and protects key turns. The deck combines steady attrition with explosive burst potential.
