A Nightmare Come True by Geno_Xcii

Format: Commander

Commander: Kathril, Aspect Warper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kathril, Aspect Warper is an Abzan self-mill reanimator commander who turns keywords in the graveyard into a single unstoppable beater. The deck's primary plan is to mill creatures with flying, double strike, lifelink, indestructible, and other abilities, then cast Kathril to place keyword counters on itself, growing it into a giant evasive threat. Recursion spells like Liliana, Death's Majesty, Victimize, and Deadbridge Chant bring back bombs such as Zetalpa and Akroma, while Syr Konrad and Dreadhound convert every milled creature into life loss. Odric and Bleeding Effect spread the keyword suite across the entire board, giving the deck both voltron and wide-aggro angles. The result is a resilient, grindy deck that punishes opponents who let it fill its graveyard.
