Deck overview

This Azorius deck is led by Denzilore Fatehold, leveraging scry and surveil triggers to place +1/+1 counters on your entire creature army. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient early creatures and token generators like Starfighter Pilot, Proctor of Potential, and Saheeli, Consul of Oversight, followed by casting Denzilore at instant speed using flash. Once assembled on Turn 5, repeatable scry and surveil sources such as Rune-Sealed Wall, Mazemind Tome, and Jace planeswalker tokens continuously grow your board into an evasive airborne strike force. The deck establishes critical combat onset around Turn 6, closing out the table across two subsequent combat rounds by Turn 8. While the deck boasts deep card selection from constant library manipulation, it lacks fast mana acceleration, free protection, and instant-speed combo finishes. It relies on combat damage, pinpoint neutralization auras like Witness Protection, and efficient recovery spells like Kayla's Reconstruction to outlast opponents.
