Deck overview

This mono-black deck blends aristocrats sacrifice engines with rapid voltron pressure led by Super Shredder. Super Shredder enters on Turn 2 and gains +1/+1 counters whenever any permanent leaves the battlefield. By sacrificing disposable tokens, recurring creatures, and Treasures, while forcing opponents to sacrifice creatures via edicts and Grave Pact, the commander grows rapidly into a lethal threat. Defensive and evasive equipment such as Commander's Plate, Brotherhood Regalia, and Shadowspear ensure Super Shredder connects for unblockable lethal commander damage. In parallel, card draw engines like Skullclamp, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and Necropotence keep resources flowing, while Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Massacre Wurm, and Torment of Hailfire provide alternative paths to close the game.
