Deck overview

This Esper artifact deck, helmed by Urza, Chief Artificer, is a token-and-artifact value engine that wins through overwhelming combat boards or the Time Sieve infinite-turn loop. The commander's affinity cost makes it a cheap 4/5, its menace makes the artifact board hard to block, and its end-step Construct token grows with the artifact count. The deck is built around a dense token package - Sai, Master Thopterist, Thopter Spy Network, Digsite Engineer, Biotransference, Mirrodin Besieged - which fuels both the board and the Time Sieve loop. A deep recursion core (Sharuum the Hegemon, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Scrap Trawler, Academy Ruins) and card-advantage engines (Mystic Forge, Rhystic Study, Esper Sentinel) keep the deck flowing. Secondary wins include Mirrodin Besieged's Phyrexian mode and the Urza, Lord Protector + The Mightstone and Weakstone meld.
