Vampires Will Hurt You

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov is a Mardu Vampire swarm deck that buries opponents in token bodies while setting up a life-drain kill. Eminence makes every Vampire spell create a token even before Edgar is cast; casting Edgar turns the team into a hasty, first-strike army that grows each combat. The deck has redundant drain payoffs-Blood Artist, Sanguine Bond, Exquisite Blood, Vito, and Bloodthirsty Conqueror-plus a tutor package to find whichever piece is missing. It can pivot from wide combat to an infinite life-loss loop. A second layer uses Captivating Vampire, Drana and Linvala, and Dictate of Erebos to control the board. The hidden commander, Edgar, Charmed Groom // Edgar Markov's Coffin, provides both an anthem and a resilient token engine.
