Elvenses by SapphireDragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai graveyard-centric Elf strategy that blends tribal creature swarm with self-mill recursion. The deck uses early mana elves and self-mill tools like Mulch, Grapple with the Past, and Merfolk Secretkeeper to stock the graveyard. Thranduil gains all activated abilities of milled Elves while drawing and filtering cards whenever legendary Elves enter the battlefield. The primary path to victory involves amassing an expansive board of Elves and tokens via Lys Alana Huntmaster and Rise of the Varmints, boosting them with lords like Imperious Perfect and Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen, and pushing unblockable lethal combat damage using Open into Wonder.
