Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white combo and hatebear control strategy commanded by Heliod, Sun-Crowned. The primary win condition is an infinite ping combo pairing Heliod with Walking Ballista or Triskelion. Giving either creature lifelink causes Heliod to place a +1/+1 counter on it whenever it deals damage, creating an infinite damage loop that eliminates all opponents in a single turn. To survive and assemble the combo, the deck uses tax pieces like Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Strict Proctor, and Angel of Jubilation to slow opposing strategies. Card draw engines such as Esper Sentinel, Trouble in Pairs, and The Gaffer provide steady card advantage over full turn cycles.
