Deck overview

This Golgari deck is an aristocrats-combo hybrid helmed by Dina, Soul Steeper. The primary strategy focuses on assembling a two-card deterministic loop between Dina and either Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, which drains the entire table of life simultaneously upon any single instance of damage or healing. Fast mana and efficient ramp allow the deck to bypass Dina's modest mana cost and deploy its 5-mana combo pieces ahead of curve by Turn 5. Redundant drain enablers like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, and Marauding Blight-Priest ensure resilience if Dina is compromised. The deck supports this game plan with high-grade free interaction including Deadly Rollick, Snuff Out, and Force of Vigor. While it possesses explosive potential, its high land count and low tutor density mean it occasionally plays as a slower, mid-range life-drain deck before assembling its decisive win condition.
