Deck overview

This Golgari life-gain and sacrifice deck, helmed by Dina, Essence Brewer, is a synergistic engine that generates value from every creature death and life-gain trigger. The primary plan involves creating a steady stream of Pest tokens, sacrificing them for card draw (via the commander) or mana (Pawn of Ulamog), and converting each life-gain event into opponent life loss through payoffs like Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. The deck can assemble an infinite drain loop using any pair of "gain life opponent loses life" and "opponent loses life you gain life" effects. Recurrable creatures and a robust recursion suite (Veinwitch Coven, Moseo, Vein's New Dean, Witch of the Moors) provide resilience, while tutors like Demonic Tutor and Sidisi, Undead Vizier find the missing pieces. It is a midrange value deck that wins through incremental bleeding or an infinite combo.
