Deck overview

This deck leverages Glissa, Herald of Predation to helm an aggressive Golgari +1/+1 counters, Incubate, and Proliferate strategy. The game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 through 3 to land counter amplifiers such as Branching Evolution or Hardened Scales before casting Glissa on Turn 4. Glissa immediately begins manufacturing Incubator tokens that enter with boosted counters. Subsequent turns double down on proliferate engines like Evolution Sage and Bloated Contaminator or bomb payoffs like Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Nissa, Ascended Animist. By Turn 6, Glissa transforms the tokens en masse or grants them first strike and deathtouch, presenting an overwhelming combat wave. While the list excels at creating massive bodies and maintaining combat dominance, its reliance on combat damage over multiple turn rotations and sparse protective spells leave it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and heavy spot removal.
