Deck overview

Jace, Multiverse Architect helms a dedicated non-green Polymorph deck engineered to cheat overwhelming high-cost threats directly onto the battlefield. The list excludes all low-mana-value creatures, guaranteeing that any Polymorph effect hits one of 19 massive game-ending creatures or planeswalkers. Early turns focus on establishing mana velocity through low-cost mana rocks and deploying resilient noncreature token generators such as Dreadhorde Invasion and Skrelv's Hive. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his −3 loyalty ability to exile a token and put a powerhouse like Archon of Cruelty, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight into play. Redundant cheat spells including Polymorph, Reality Scramble, and Proteus Staff ensure continuous pressure, while cantrips like Brainstorm return stranded payoffs from hand to the library. The deck protects its engine with board-wide indestructible effects and controls opposing boards with exile wipes, systematically dismantling opponents over multiple combat cycles.
