Deck overview

This mono-white aggressive deck is commanded by Kwende, Pride of Femeref, designed to maximize the effectiveness of creatures with first strike by granting them double strike. The deck curves out early with low-cost first-strike and lifelink creatures such as Battlefield Raptor, Brightblade Stoat, and Voice of the Blessed. When Kwende enters on Turn 4, these creatures strike twice, doubling their combat damage and triggering lifegain effects in both first-strike and regular damage steps. This rapidly supercharges +1/+1 counter engines like Archangel of Thune, Heliod, Sun-Crowned, and Nykthos Paragon. The strategy closes out games through explosive combat phases powered by Akroma's Will, True Conviction, or massive evasive attackers. While potent in creature-based combat, the deck relies on natural draws and must time its protection spells carefully against board wipes.
