Deck overview

This mono-blue deck combines graveyard spell-slinging with mill-based win conditions under Neerdiv, Devious Diver. The early game establishes mana development and fills the graveyard using cheap cantrips, surveil spells, and utility tap artifacts like Springleaf Drum. Once Neerdiv enters the battlefield, casting flashback, jump-start, and harmonize cards converts graveyard resources into steady card draw and +1/+1 counters while milling opponents whenever Neerdiv taps. Mid-game turns scale card advantage through engines like Secrets of the Dead, River Kelpie, and Archmage Emeritus. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by compounding mill triggers with Bruvac the Grandiloquent, The Water Crystal, and Psychic Corrosion, or by assembling the two-card combo of Painter's Servant and Grindstone. A robust suite of low-cost countermagic and bounce spells defends key setup pieces and disrupts opposing win attempts, giving the deck steady resilience and diverse routes to victory.
