Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, Mountain-king

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red Dwarf/Equipment deck has no hidden commander; it is built around Thorin, Mountain-king as a voltron payoff. Thorin is both a reusable equipment reattacher and a removal trigger, since his enters trigger can consolidate all relevant Equipment onto one creature while firing a power-based damage shot. The primary plan is to suit Thorin with haste and pump Equipment, then close with commander damage. Secondary paths are equipment go-wide beats with samurai/token makers and occasional Scytheclaw half-life hits. Dwarves like Freya Crescent, Dain Ironfoot, and Balin Loremaster smooth early equipment or refill the hand, while Daretti, Junk Diver, and Buried Ruin recover from wipes. The deck can still curve equipment onto other dwarves without Thorin, but it meaningfully loses speed and removal.
