Deck overview

This deck is a colorless big-mana strategy led by Kozilek, the Great Distortion. The game plan focuses on deploying artifact ramp and mana-multiplying permanents during the early turns to assemble 10 or more mana by Turn 6. Once assembled, casting the commander immediately replenishes the player's hand up to seven cards, offsetting the card disadvantage inherent to heavy ramp sequencing. Kozilek then acts as a defensive linchpin by discarding cards to counter opposing spells that match their mana values. Victory is achieved through devastating combat steps utilizing massive Eldrazi beaters, annihilator triggers, and commander damage enhanced by equipment such as Fireshrieker and Blackblade Reforged. The deck features powerful asymmetric sweepers like All Is Dust to clear opposing colored boards while leaving its own colorless battlefield untouched. Its primary limitations are a vulnerability to early nonbasic land hate and high mana requirements for reactive interaction.
