Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan lifegain and +1/+1 counters combo-midrange build led by Betor, Ancestor's Voice. The deck uses early mana dorks and Talismans to establish a reliable mana base, transitioning smoothly into high-value card advantage engines like The One Ring, Terrasymbiosis, and Betor, Kin to All. Its central strategy builds a high life total while growing creatures through lifegain triggers. To close games, the deck features the compact two-card infinite combo of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista, alongside a secondary drain loop with Exquisite Blood and Enduring Tenacity. Efficient spot removal spells like Assassin's Trophy and Deadly Rollick control opposing threats, while Dragonlord Dromoka and Tamiyo's Safekeeping protect key execution windows. If disrupted, the deck leverages reanimation engines to recover rapidly and maintain pressure.
