Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord leads an aggressive midrange deck centered on building a massive Orc Army and turning combat damage into continuous card advantage. Every opposing spell grows your Army, while Army combat damage tempts you with the Ring to discard and draw four cards. This engine fuels discard payoffs like Archfiend of Ifnir, Moonstone, and Inti while loading the graveyard for Living Death or Reanimate. The primary win condition relies on pushing through lethal combat damage with an evasive or trample-granting Army via cards like Herald of Secret Streams, Uncivil Unrest, and Bolg, backed by passive burn from The Great Goblin.
