Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis wheel and group slug strategy led by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. Its primary game plan revolves around turning symmetric card draw into asymmetric burn damage. By establishing Nekusar or redundant draw-punishers like Underworld Dreams and Fate Unraveler, the deck accelerates table-wide clocks whenever players draw cards. It leverages powerful wheel sorceries such as Windfall, Whispering Madness, and Burning Inquiry to inflict large bursts of damage while disrupting opponents' sculpted hands. A compact two-card infinite combo featuring Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity provides an alternate direct route to eliminate the table. The deck carries a robust suite of interaction, including countermagic like Counterspell, targeted removal, and efficient board sweepers such as Toxic Deluge and Blasphemous Act to survive aggressive tables. With a high land count and steady resource curves, it steadily grinds opposing life totals down to zero over multiple turn rotations.
