THE ULTIMATE GROUPSLUG DECK | Valgavoth [Video Guide] (duplicated from Panzer_MTG) by DJ Otakuma

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls leads a Rakdos group-slug deck that turns every opponent's life loss into cards and a growing evasive threat. The primary plan is to land Valgavoth on turn four, then layer symmetrical pain permanents-Sulfuric Vortex, Manabarbs, Ankh of Mishra, Spellshock-so each opponent bleeds on every upkeep, land drop, and spell. Draw-punish pieces like Underworld Dreams and Sheoldred convert the extra cards into more damage. Damage amplifiers Solphim, Ojer Axonil, and Spiked Corridor // Torture Pit accelerate the clock, and Exsanguinate or Chandra's Ignition on a large Valgavoth closes games. The deck is resilient in grind but vulnerable to its own symmetrical damage and to commander removal.
