Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color midrange strategy led by Leonardo, the Balance and Donatello, the Brains. It merges aggressive token generation with compounding +1/+1 counter synergies. Donatello modifies all token creation to generate bonus Mutagen tokens, which immediately triggers Leonardo to distribute +1/+1 counters across your entire board. The deck scales a wide board of tokens and modified creatures into lethal combat threats using evasion enablers like Duskshell Crawler and Leonardo's 5-color activation, while asymmetric sweepers such as Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye clear opposing blockers. A compact infinite backup line exists through Basking Broodscale and Rosie Cotton of South Lane, which generates unbounded counters and Eldrazi Spawns. While reliant on a permanent-heavy board state, redundant payoffs and robust card-draw engines keep the deck advancing through standard interaction.
