Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger and time-manipulation engine helmed by Taigam, Master Opportunist. It leverages the Flurry mechanic to copy the second spell cast each turn and exile it with four time counters, granting it suspend. Low-cost cantrips, cost reducers, and mana rocks smooth early sequencing to enable reliable double-spelling starting on Turn 4. The deck then accelerates these delayed payloads using time-travel mechanics, extra upkeep steps via Paradox Haze and Sphinx of the Second Sun, and flash enablers like Borne Upon a Wind. As suspended cards resolve for free, they trigger magecraft engines and fuel explosive turns. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through an overwhelming combat board of evasive beaters like Haughty Djinn and Eluge, the Shoreless Sea copied by Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, with late-game soft locks enabled by Tidespout Tyrant.
