Abdel Flicker King by WalonnKhan

Format: Commander

Commander: Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Candlekeep Sage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius blink deck is built around the Abdel Adrian + Candlekeep Sage command pair. The primary plan is to land the Background, then use Abdel to exile incidental nonland permanents into a growing Soldier army while drawing on every enter/leave trigger. Secondary paths include value tempo with Soulherder, Thassa, Flickerwisp, and Agent of Treachery, and eventually a combo kill through Archaeomancer/Ghostly Flicker loops with Gilded Lotus or Peregrine Drake. Abdel is both the token engine and the primary loop piece, so the deck is heavily commander-centric; Candlekeep Sage is the draw engine. There is no hidden commander; the loop is closed by Altar of the Brood or by a huge pumped/token swarm.
