This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Magnus the Red. The plan revolves around generating wide boards of creature tokens using low-cost spells and permanents like Ral's Reinforcements, Saheeli, Sublime Artificer, and Hordeling Outburst. Once Magnus the Red enters the battlefield, each creature token reduces the generic mana cost of instant and sorcery spells by one. This discount turns high-mana card draw spells like Stroke of Genius and Finale of Revelation into ultra-efficient refill engines costing only their colored pips. The deck then chains into burst mana generators such as Battle Hymn and Jeska's Will, accumulating enough mana to cast lethal finishers like Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, or storming out with Thousand-Year Storm.
