Deck overview

This monoblack control deck leverages Tinybones, the Pickpocket as an ultra-low-cost commander to steal high-value nonland permanents from opposing graveyards following heavy early-game hand disruption. The core strategy systematically strips opponents of resources using symmetric discard and edict effects such as Bottomless Pit, Burglar Rat, Liliana of the Veil, and Plaguecrafter. Parity is broken through asymmetric engines like Tergrid, God of Fright, Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal, and Tinybones, Trinket Thief, which turn opponent discards into card advantage and stolen permanents. Large mana engines powered by Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast enable devastating late-game closers like Torment of Hailfire and Rise of the Dark Realms, while a compact two-card infinite combo between Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank provides an alternate avenue to drain out the table. The list is resilient against creature-based strategies but relies on proactive hand depletion to protect its board against noncreature interaction.
