New Untitled Deck by user6263199

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Necromancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black graveyard value deck uses Sauron, the Necromancer as a repeatable reanimation engine. You stock the graveyard with Buried Alive, Entomb and mill, then attack with Sauron to create tapped, attacking 3/3 Wraith copies of Archon of Cruelty, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Massacre Wurm and Sheoldred for enter and attack triggers. The Ring-bearer clause lets you keep the token if Sauron is your Ring-bearer. Secondary paths win without combat through devotion drain with Gray Merchant, Ayara and Bontu's Monument, and incremental drain from Mirkwood Bats and Syr Konrad, the Grim, who acts as a hidden commander. Nazgul and Ring-tempt synergies provide a wide board that supports both plans.
