Better Not Search- Song by joghurtesser

Format: Commander

Commander: River Song

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

River Song is an Izzet 'search-punisher' engine: every opponent scry, surveil, or library search puts a +1/+1 counter on her and deals damage, and the deck forces those searches with targeted land destruction and mass nonbasic hate. The primary path is to grow River Song while draining each opponent, with All Will Be One, Solphim, and Gratuitous Violence converting counters into large bursts. Secondary paths are Niv-Mizzet, Parun plus cantrips for draw-based burn, and token pressure from Talrand, Third Path Iconoclast, and Guttersnipe. Niv-Mizzet acts as a hidden commander and alternate finisher. The deck is interactive and resilient on the stack, but it is deliberately incremental and has no combo kill.
