Deck overview

This deck utilizes Kellan, the Fae-Blooded at the helm of an aggressive Boros Voltron strategy. Kellan acts as a tutor from the command zone via the Adventure spell Birthright Boon, which searches directly for key Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Sunforger, or Sword of Feast and Famine. Once cast, Kellan's native double strike turns stat-boosting equipment into immediate lethal commander damage, eliminating a player as early as Turn 4 when paired with equip-cost enablers like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist or Puresteel Paladin. The list includes high-quality free protection spells including Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver alongside a Sunforger toolbox for reactive answers. However, the list suffers from structural dilution due to an included spellslinger package (Guttersnipe, Monastery Mentor, Arcane Bombardment) that distracts from the core equipment engine, alongside a vulnerability to chump blockers and exile-based board wipes.
