Deck overview

This deck is a classic Naya big-creature battlecruiser build commanded by Mayael the Anima. The core strategy revolves around establishing Mayael early, utilizing topdeck manipulation tools such as Scroll Rack, Brainstone, and Penance to position high-cost bombs on top of the library, and activating Mayael at instant speed for six mana. The creature package features overwhelming Dragon and Angel threats including Ancient Copper Dragon, Ancient Gold Dragon, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Balefire Dragon, which generate massive board presence, token swarms, and card advantage. Protection spells like Deflecting Swat, Heroic Intervention, and Flawless Maneuver defend key permanents from removal. The deck operates on a steady, combat-oriented clock, reliably threatening the table by Turn 6 and closing games out through overwhelming flying and trampling damage by Turn 8.
