Deck overview

This deck uses Jace, Multiverse Architect as a dedicated Polymorph engine from the command zone. The strategy relies on cheap noncreature token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls to create sacrificial fodder. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 loyalty ability to exile a token and flip into one of eighteen high-cost creatures or planeswalkers. The payoff suite includes game-ending bombs like Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, and Avacyn, Angel of Horror. Backup transformation effects such as Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny ensure redundant routes to flood the board with massive threats. The deck supports this game plan with efficient two-mana artifact ramp, versatile spot removal, and asymmetric board wipes that clean up opposing boards while preserving token production.
