Deck overview

This is a Grixis crime-midrange combo deck helmed by Marchesa, Dealer of Death. Every targeted interaction against opponents is a "crime," which fuels Marchesa's cheap dig (pay {1}, two-card look, keep one) and powers on-theme engines like Forsaken Miner, Magda, the Hoardmaster, Kaervek, the Punisher, and Duelist of the Mind. The primary wins are classic Niv-Curiosity loops (Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind / Niv-Mizzet, Parun with Curiosity or Tandem Lookout) and a compact sacrifice loop with Forsaken Miner and Goblin Bombardment. A deep instant/sorcery package, reanimation (Buried Alive, Victimize, Lively Dirge, Stitch Together), and Kess, Dissident Mage / Past in Flames give the deck both combo density and grind. Interaction is heavy and mostly instant-speed, so the deck plays as a reactive control shell that converts crimes into card advantage until a two-card kill lands.
