Deck overview

This mono-white midrange deck centers on incremental lifegain, board control, and aerial combat pressure. Led by Ob Nixilis, the Ascended, the deck leverages low-cost lifegain creatures like Soul Warden and Authority of the Consuls to trigger token production, counter distribution, and draw engines. Dense 2-CMC artifact acceleration ensures consistent mana development into mid-game powerhouses such as Archangel of Thune, Heliod, Sun-Crowned, and Smothering Tithe. Ob Nixilis punishes tapped opposing boards upon entry while producing a steady stream of 4/4 flying Angels. The removal suite is deep and flexible, featuring premier spot exile and versatile sweepers like Farewell. While lacking tutors to assemble its Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista combo quickly, the deck wins steadily through massive flying swings, lifegain resilience, and Aetherflux Reservoir bursts.
