Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Grixis tempo and saboteur aggro deck helmed by Goro-Goro and Satoru. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, unblockable creatures on early turns and utilizing ninjutsu or haste enablers to trigger the commander's ability immediately upon connecting with combat damage. Each creature that entered the battlefield this turn and deals combat damage creates a 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit token, rapidly building a formidable aerial strike force. Coastal Piracy effects like Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Enduring Curiosity turn every successful attack into massive card advantage, keeping hands filled with interaction and additional threats. Direct damage engines such as Dragon Tempest, Impact Tremors, and Terror of the Peaks turn dragon generation into immediate table-wide burn. Backed by free protective spells, efficient countermagic, and extra combat steps from Great Train Heist, the deck swiftly overwhelms the table with evasive dragons.
