Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf midrange deck built around artifact tokens. The main engine is to make Dwarves enter, create Treasures through Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, and use those artifacts to increase the power of the Dwarf board. Academy Manufactor greatly improves each Treasure into a Treasure, Clue, and Food, while Magda, Brazen Outlaw turns five Treasures into a powerful artifact or Dragon. The deck has useful creature and permanent removal, some protection, and several legendary-creature tutors. Its weaknesses are speed and assembly: the strongest pieces are expensive, the central roles are not fully redundant, and the token engine does not itself draw cards. Combat is the main way to close, with Hellkite Tyrant as a secondary artifact-count payoff. The deck can create strong battlefield advantages in a casual or mid-power game, but it does not present a compact deterministic win or a reliable lockout.
