oRvar v2 by susanoofr

Format: Commander

Commander: Orvar, the All-Form

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-blue deck helmed by Orvar, the All-Form is a spell-slinger combo machine that turns cheap cantrips into a tidal wave of tokens. The core plan involves casting instants and sorceries that target permanents you control - most often a land - to trigger Orvar's copy ability. Repeating this with untap-effect creatures like Peregrine Drake, Palinchron, or Great Whale generates infinite mana, which is then sunk into Blue Sun's Zenith to deck all opponents. Backup win paths include massive token swarms from Master of Waves or Nanogene Conversion plus the commander, and a suite of tutors (Spellseeker, Merchant Scroll, Muddle the Mixture) ensures the key pieces are found reliably.
