Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mardu Monarch control list piloted by Queen Marchesa. It establishes early defense using pillowfort staples like Ghostly Prison and No Mercy, discouraging opponents from attacking while introducing the monarch mechanic to generate steady card advantage. The deck controls the board through efficient removal spells and aikido elements such as Deflecting Palm and Deflecting Swat. It converts this defensive parity into a winning advantage through scaling enchantment courts, Luminarch Ascension, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, before ending the game with an overwhelming combat push backed by Akroma's Will.
