Deck overview

This deck executes a relentless Rakdos group-slug and punisher strategy commanded by Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost enchantments and creatures that inflict unavoidable, incremental damage whenever opponents take standard game actions like drawing cards, casting spells, tapping lands, or playing creatures. Once an enabler like Fate Unraveler, Mogis, God of Slaughter, or Spiteful Visions is active, Valgavoth triggers during every opponent's turn, drawing three extra cards per rotation while growing into a massive aerial threat. The deck converts this steady card advantage into spot removal, sweepers, and scaling burn permanents like Kaervek the Merciless, The Lord of Pain, and Massacre Wurm. Without relying on infinite combos, it steadily drains all three life totals simultaneously while protecting its life buffer with lifegain effects. Opponents are forced into a brutal attrition race where every turn cycle accelerates their demise and fuels your hand.
