Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Five-color Dragon tribal built around The Ur-Dragon's eminence discount and attack trigger. The primary plan is to ramp into The Ur-Dragon, attack with Dragons to draw cards and cheat permanents into play, then close with extra combat steps fueled by treasure and untap effects. Secondary paths include the Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond life-drain loop, Coalition Victory with Leyline of the Guildpact, and a hidden Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge engine that cheats creatures and planeswalkers. The commander is single-faced; the deck is built to use its attack trigger and cost reduction rather than its 10/10 body alone. Tutors and dragon synergies make the deck consistent, while Avacyn and free counterspells protect the finish.
