Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet Spellslinger Combo deck with Lutri, the Spellchaser in the command zone. The primary game plan seeks to assemble a compact two-card infinite combo using Dualcaster Mage and a creature-copying spell such as Twinflame or Molten Duplication. By casting Twinflame on an existing creature and copying it repeatedly with Dualcaster Mage's enters-the-battlefield trigger, the deck produces infinite hasty 2/2 creature tokens that swing for lethal combat damage on Turn 4. The list backs this win condition with a dense suite of zero-mana and one-mana counterspells, including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Pact of Negation. Secondary win paths leverage Storm engines and Magecraft payoffs such as Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Ral, Storm Conduit to burn out opponents or mill libraries with Brain Freeze.
