Ureni

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Temur Dragon-tribal deck helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten, built around the commander's ETB and attack triggers to cheat Dragons directly onto the battlefield from the top eight cards of the library. The primary plan is to ramp into Ureni, then chain attack triggers to flood the board with high-power flyers while Scourge of the Throne (extra combats), Atarka, World Render, and Terror of Mount Velus (double strike) turn the swarm into a one-turn kill. Secondary damage comes from Dragon Tempest pings, Eshki, Temur's Roar's cast triggers, and Become the Avalanche as a finisher. The deck is a mid-power combat deck with heavy redundancy in Dragons, cost reducers, and haste enablers, but it carries almost no instant-speed interaction and no real tutors outside the command zone.
