Deck overview

This Simic deck is helmed by Zimone, Mystery Unraveler, focusing on exploiting the manifest dread mechanic and landfall triggers. By deploying land-fetch triggers—such as fetchlands, Harrow, or Entish Restoration—the deck generates two landfall events in a single turn. The first landfall manifests dread, placing a card face down as a 2/2 creature. The second landfall triggers Zimone's ability to turn any face-down permanent face up for free. This completely bypasses the prohibitive mana costs of game-warping bombs like Blightsteel Colossus, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Void Winnower, and Omniscience. Backed by redundant face-down enablers like Scroll of Fate and Vannifar, Evolved Enigma, the deck rapidly ramps, cheats colossal threats onto the battlefield ahead of curve, and overruns the table through overwhelming combat damage and brutal stax locks.
