The End of the world by DollarsignBenny

Format: Commander

Commander: Redshift, Rocketeer Chief

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Redshift, Rocketeer Chief anchors a Gruul deck built to turn +1/+1 counters into mana: his tap adds power-based mana that pays activated abilities, and his exhaust mass-cheats permanents into play. Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink acts as a hidden commander, making hasted token copies of Scourge of Valkas and Terror of the Peaks for a burn finish. The deck's secondary path is classic Dragon beatdown with Atarka, World Render and extra combat spells. It is a deliberate, mid-powered battlecruiser: it spends turns growing Redshift and accumulating lands, then uses one explosive turn to activate Orthion or exhaust the entire hand.
