Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal midrange strategy commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. Leveraging its Eminence ability, the deck permanently reduces the casting costs of its dense roster of 33 Sphinxes from the command zone. Early turns focus on mana fixing and deployment through two-mana rocks and tribal enablers like Urza's Incubator. By Turn 4, the deck establishes an initial flying engine, progressing into mid-game dominance with value-generating threats like Tivit, Seller of Secrets, Consecrated Sphinx, and Elenda and Azor. Winning the game relies on evasive aerial combat across multiple turns, reinforced by asymmetric board wipes such as Kindred Dominance and Kindred Judgment. The list intentionally bypasses infinite combos and tutoring packages in favor of thematic synergy, raw card advantage, and formidable combat presence.
