Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet artifact toolbox and token midrange strategy commanded by Iron Man, Titan of Innovation. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient 1-to-2 CMC mana rocks and cost reducers to cast Iron Man on Turn 4. Thanks to innate haste and flying, Iron Man attacks immediately, producing a Treasure token and podding noncreature artifacts into exact mana-value-plus-one upgrades directly onto the battlefield. The deck transitions into a lethal state on Turn 5 by tutoring or deploying game-ending payoffs such as Cyberdrive Awakener, Kappa Cannoneer, or Krark-Clan Ironworks. Lethality is achieved through overwhelming evasive combat damage from animated 4/4 flying artifacts and token swarms, closing out the table around Turn 7. The deck boasts excellent plan shielding via searchable equipment and resilient graveyard recursion engines like Goblin Welder and Emry, Lurker of the Loch, though it remains susceptible to mass artifact exile.
