Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Mardu reanimator and aristocrats list commanded by Terra, Herald of Hope. The game plan revolves around filling the graveyard through self-mill, looting, and targeted tutors, then leveraging Terra's combat trigger to cheat power-3-or-less utility creatures and combo pieces directly into play. Stax and hatebear creatures like Drannith Magistrate and Opposition Agent slow down opponents while you sculpt your graveyard. The deck closes the game decisively through a classic Karmic Guide and Reveillark recursion loop paired with sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment, Altar of Dementia, or Warren Soultrader and damage payoffs like Agate Instigator or Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. With strong backup reanimation spells like Living Death and protective tools like Grand Abolisher and Deflecting Swat, the deck maintains resilience across every phase of the game.
