Deck overview

This is a Bant "legendary-copy + mill" control deck built around Shaun & Rebecca, Agents. The commander's ETB is a one-card engine: it searches the graveyard, hand, and library for The Animus and puts it directly onto the battlefield, giving the deck guaranteed access to its centerpiece. From there, the deck fills graveyards with a deep redundancy of mill outlets-Hedron Crab, Ruin Crab, Mesmeric Orb, Sword of Body and Mind, and the commander's own tap ability-then weaponizes those yards with The Animus copying legends like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Absolute Virtue, or The Mindskinner. The alternate kill is a classic high-end beatdown plan: Monster Manual // Zoological Study and Oviya, Automech Artisan cheat Blightsteel Colossus or Darksteel Colossus into play. Bruvac the Grandiloquent acts as a pseudo-commander, doubling nearly every mill trigger and turning a single unblockable The Mindskinner hit into 20 cards per opponent.
