Format: Commander

Commander: Shelob, Child of Ungoliant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari fight-Voltron list built entirely around Shelob, Child of Ungoliant. The 99 contains no creature cards - she is the sole body - so the plan is to ramp into the 6-mana 8/8, then fire a dense instant-speed fight and bite suite through her deathtouch. Each opposing creature that dies after taking Spider damage becomes a Food artifact copy that keeps its abilities, turning removal into incremental value. In parallel the deck suits her with evasion and power (Brotherhood Regalia, My Precious, Loxodon Warhammer) and a thick blanket of hexproof, indestructible, and death-return auras so she can close on commander damage. Season of Growth converts every targeted fight and protection spell into a card. There are no infinite combos and no alternate win conditions; the deck wins by attrition plus a single-attacker voltron clock. Recursion auras and Swarmyard exist only to keep Shelob on the battlefield.
