Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Simic counter-and-token swarm build powered by The Astonishing Ant-Man. The strategy accelerates on Turns 1–2 with efficient mana dorks and land-ramp spells, deploying Ant-Man early. On Turn 4, the deck layers card-draw and counter-multiplying engines such as Sylvan Library, Skullclamp, and Branching Evolution. Each card drawn puts +1/+1 counters onto Ant-Man, which are converted into a wide swarm of 1/1 green Insect creature tokens via his activated ability on the opponent's end step. On Turn 6, the deck leverages mana converters like Cryptolith Rite to cast decisive overrun finishers, including Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, or a large Finale of Devastation. These spells grant trample, haste, or infect across the creature swarm to eliminate all three opponents in a single combat step. Supporting protection spells like Heroic Intervention and efficient countermagic defend key assets throughout execution.
