Deck overview

Winter, Misanthropic Guide sits at the helm of a punishing symmetrical-draw deck that weaponises every opponent draw into chip damage. The commander forces two extra draws per turn cycle, feeding a suite of pinger creatures (Ob Nixilis, the Hate-Twisted, Fate Unraveler, Orcish Bowmasters, Razorkin Needlehead, Scrawling Crawler, Psychosis Crawler) to drain life steadily while the player draws deeper into their own library. A secondary recursive shell - Reanimate, Shigeki, Jukai Visionary, Bala Ged Recovery - provides resilience after wipes, and Waste Not turns opponents' discards into zombies, mana, and cards. The game plan is grind-based: assemble the engine, keep hands full through symmetrical draw, and use Traverse the Ulvenwald and Demonic Counsel (once delirium is active) to find key pieces. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins through cumulative chip damage and eventually a large Psychosis Crawler or Bonehoard+commander beats. Speed is modest, resilience is moderate, and the commander's presence is a major accelerant.
